ALERTS

Notification of terrorism alerts, warnings, significant threats and other incidents or developments of national significance. Examples include domestic terror incidents, threats by terror organizations such as Al-Qa'ida and Hezbollah, attacks on U.S. embassies and interests abroad, direct threats from other nations (Iran, N. Korea, China, Russia), significant counterterrorism actions, etc.. Alerts may also be issued regarding developments signaling an increased threat environment. Examples include new Al-Qa'ida video and audio messages, significant terror incidents overseas, nuclear detonations (N. Korea '06), etc...

Weekly National Situation Updates

A weekly audio briefing providing a concise roundup of new threats and warnings, travel advisories, changes in security posture, new security rules and procedures and other important homeland security news and information. Content is delivered in a fast paced, "facts-only" style. No hype or sensationalism. No politics. The National Situation Update frequently includes detailed analysis on terrorist threats, activity and other major security issues prepared by specialized analytical outlets from the public and private sector. Issued each Saturday afternoon.

AlertsUSA frequently prepares in-depth special reports on any of a variety of topics based on current events and information needs.
