Jan 24, 2010 SOURCE: Multiple New Bin Laden message threatens more attacks, wording a possible indicator of upcoming operation A new audo message by Osama Bin Laden was broadcast on Jan 24th, 2010 by al-Jazeera. Within the message, bin Laden endorsed the failed attempt to blow up a U.S. airliner on Christmas Day and threatened new attacks against the United States. The threats were explicit: "God willing, our raids on you will continue as long as your support for the Israelis continues," "The message delivered to you through the plane of the heroic warrior Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was a confirmation of the previous messages sent by the heroes of the Sept. 11," he said of the Nigerian perp in the failed Dec. 25 attempt to detonate a bomb on board a NW Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.. "If our messages had been able to reach you through words we wouldn't have been delivering them through planes." In a statement directed at President Obama, bin Laden stated: "America will never dream of security unless we will have it in reality in Palestine." According to IntelCenter, a monitor of Islamist websites, the message contains specific language used by bin Laden in statements made in advance of previous attacks. |
